Your conversation, explained.

Messages and files use encrypted WebRTC data channels. Voice calls use encrypted WebRTC audio, only after you join and allow microphone access. The server introduces peers and does not store chat content.

A relay may help peers connect on restrictive networks. The signaling service sees connection metadata, including display names and room IDs. Participants may see each other’s IP addresses.

Valid room invites request access, subject to host approval and locking; there are no accounts or identity verification. Only share your invite with people you trust. History stays in this tab until you clear it, leave, or reload. Recipients can keep their own copies. Room invites, host or guest access credentials, and nicknames are saved in IndexedDB on this device until you delete them or clear site data. Audio is not recorded by this app.
